University Avenue in full bloom

University Avenue is now in full bloom thanks to a donation of $10,000,
solicited by the Toronto Parks and Trees Foundation, from Heather Reisman,
Chief Executive Officer of Indigo Books and Music. The donation provided funds
for tulip bulbs to be planted across from Mount Sinai Hospital at 600
University Ave. by City of Toronto Parks staff last fall.

This dramatic floral display helps to beautify the area, making it more
inviting to residents, tourists and area workers. It is the first initiative of
the Toronto Parks and Trees Foundation, a non-profit group recently formed to
advance citizen-corporate partnerships, and mandated to preserve and enhance
Toronto's parks and open spaces.

The Toronto Parks and Trees Foundation extends its thanks to Ms. Reisman and
Indigo Books and Music for helping bring tulips back to University Avenue for
the first time since the mid-'80s.
