Media Advisory: Toronto Homes for the Aged residents embrace the electronic age
At a special ceremony at Seven Oaks, Toronto Homes for the Aged in partnership
with the L.I.F.E. Institute (Ryerson University) will celebrate the opening of
its first computer lounge for residents. The Connections Lounge will offer
residents access to a computer and the Internet, and will provide new
opportunities for lifelong learning.

Plans are underway to create similar lounges in each of Toronto's 10
directly-operated homes for the aged.

The celebration will include a demonstration of the new computer and a variety
of assistive devices, and residents and staff will be available for interviews.

Date: Tuesday, March 12

Time: 2:30 p.m.

Location: Seven Oaks Home for the Aged
9 Neilson Rd., Scarborough
(Neilson and Ellesmere)
