City to hold World Youth Day 2002 community information meetings for downtown residents and businesses
  
The City of Toronto will be holding a series of community information meetings
to inform residents and businesses about proposed road restrictions in the
downtown area during World Youth Day 2002.

Exhibition Place will host World Youth Day 2002 events daily from Tuesday, July
23 through Friday, July 26. Delegates to World Youth Day will travel to
Exhibition Place daily via walking routes including Dovercourt Road, Wellington
Street and Queen's Quay West. The Way of the Cross procession, open to the
public, will take place on University Avenue on Friday, July 26, between Queen
Street West and Bloor Street West.

The three community information meetings are:

Tuesday, May 14
Metro Hall, Council Chambers, 55 John St.

Thursday, May 16
Trinity Community Recreation Centre, 155 Crawford St.

Wednesday, May 29
Exhibition Place, Queen Elizabeth Building, Fountain Dining Room

All meetings begin at 7 p.m.
