Media Advisory: Toronto Inukshuk reaches new heights

Members of the media are invited to witness the placement of key pieces of
granite that will form the Toronto Inukshuk, the City of Toronto's Legacy
Project to commemorate World Youth Day and the visit of Pope John Paul II to
Toronto in July 2002.

Date: Friday, June 14

Time: 10 a.m.

Location: Battery Park between eastern border of Ontario Place
and Coronation Park, south side of Lakeshore Boulevard

Councillor Joe Pantalone (Ward 19 Trinity-Spadina) and Tony Dionisio (Local
183, Universal Workers Union), co-chairs of the Toronto Inukshuk, will be
joined by sponsors of this legacy project. This event will be an opportunity to
view great visuals in erecting this 30-foot majestic monument on Toronto's
Waterfront.
