Media Advisory: Toronto paramedics holding fundraiser tonight for victims of September 11 terrorist attacks

Emergency Medical Services - Three New York City paramedics will be in Toronto
tonight to take part in a fundraising event for the families of their fellow
New York City paramedics who were killed in the terrorist attacks of September
11, 2001.

This charity event is being organized by Toronto paramedics to raise money for
the families of the paramedics who were killed on September 11.

Date: Friday, November 29
Time: 9 p.m.
Place: Reverb nightclub, 651 Queen St. W. (at Bathurst)

Entertainment will be provided by DJ Ambulance Dave and Odd Man Out, a local
alternative band comprised of Toronto EMS paramedics and students.

Toronto paramedics invite their fellow paramedics, colleagues in the emergency
services and health care professions, and interested members of the public to
come have some fun, meet the NYC paramedics and support the families left
behind.

The proceeds of this event and other fundraisers organized by Toronto
paramedics will be presented to NYC paramedics in New York this December.
