Media Advisory: New Harbourfront parks: What is your vision? Join us for a public meeting and walking tour
The City of Toronto's Parks and Recreation Planning Section is starting work on
the design and development of City-owned land in the Harbourfront area that is
designated as "parks and open space." The new parks will be built on a number
of land parcels located in the area bounded by Lakeshore Boulevard, Stadium
Road (just west of Bathurst Street), and York Street.

The City is holding consultations with the public and key stakeholders as part
of its commitment to build a community vision for these new Harbourfront parks.
Toronto's Parks and Recreation Planning Section, along with Councillors Joe
Pantalone and Olivia Chow, will be hosting a public meeting and walking tour of
the area to kick off the consultation process.

Date: Saturday, May 4
Time: 12 noon - 2:30 p.m.
Place: Harbourfront Community Centre, 627 Queen's Quay W.
