Shop. Dine. Explore. Celebrate the holidays in Toronto.

The Economic Development, Culture and Tourism Department has launched its third
annual holiday campaign to encourage Toronto residents and visitors to discover
the many things the city has to offer during the holiday season.

Torontonians are invited to shop their way around town at one of the 15,000
main street stores. Toronto is a shopper's paradise, offering unlimited
selection for unlimited value. The city's business improvement areas abound
with merchants with many one-of-a-kind gifts. Residents and visitors can also
sample the 200 different cuisines from around the world from the city's 5,000
restaurants.

During the holiday season, Torontonians can experience many special events,
Christmas celebrations and holiday happenings for family and friends as well as
for the young and the young-at-heart. Activities include Christmas flower
shows, music concerts, historic house tours, art exhibitions, outdoor sports
programs and New Year's parties.

For more information about what to do in Toronto for the holidays, the public
