Sponsorship support keeps growing for Toronto Winterfest

TORONTO, ONTARIO -On February 8, 9 and 10, Toronto Winterfest presented by
Shoppers Drug Mart welcomes three new corporate sponsors to Ontario's second
largest winter festival. New to the fold are The Eaton Centre, Mercedes-Benz
Canada Inc. and western-based telecommunications company, SuperPages, who not
only provide vital sponsorship dollars, but add exciting programming to the
event.

"Toronto Eaton Centre is delighted to be a sponsor of Toronto Winterfest," said
Andrea Tushingham, Director of Marketing of the Toronto Eaton Centre. "Since
it was launched more than twenty years ago, Toronto Winterfest has grown to
become one of the country's most popular winter festivals, showcasing our city
to both tourists and residents alike. As the Toronto Eaton Centre is one of
Toronto's premiere tourist attractions, it only seems fitting that we would
participate in this event."

We are pleased to welcome back presenting sponsor Shoppers Drug Mart for the
4th year. Other returning Winterfest sponsors are Enbridge Consumers Gas and
Scotiabank.

Toronto Winterfest relies on the support of corporate sponsors and partners to
produce this incredible three-day indoor-outdoor free festival that boasts two
winter wonderland destinations for those who prefer to celebrate, rather than
hibernate during the coolest season of the year! The festival is so jam packed
with non-stop things to see and do it takes two winter wonderland destinations
to showcase - the North Pole at Mel Lastman Square and the festival South Pole
at Nathan Phillips Square.

The fun begins at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, February 8 at Nathan Phillips Square
with the Opening Ceremonies and continues throughout the weekend at both
festival sites from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 9 and 10:00
a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 10 with a free pancake breakfast hosted
by Enbridge Consumers Gas to kick start each morning.

Ride the Rocket to both our festival sites! For Nathan Phillips Square located
at 100 Queen Street West, take the TTC Queen Street streetcar (501), or the
Yonge Line subway (exit Queen station) or the University Line (exit Osgoode
station). For Mel Lastman Square, take the Yonge Line subway (exit North York
Centre). Getting there couldn't be easier!
