Date: Thursday, May 23
Time: 1:45 p.m.
Place: Toronto City Hall, 100 Queen St. W.

Mayor Mel Lastman will present tickets to young golfers from Driftwood
Community Centre's learn-to-golf program for "Tiger Takes Toronto", the launch
of the American Express Tiger Woods credit card, scheduled to take place on
Olympic Island on Monday, May 27 at 10 a.m.

The golf program, which runs out of Driftwood Community Centre, is operated in
partnership with Toronto Parks and Recreation and the National Junior Golf
Academy and is geared to low-income high-risk youth aged 8 to 16 years. The
much sought-after tickets to "Tiger Takes Toronto" will provide a
once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for these young participants to see Tiger Woods
in action.
