Media Advisory: Newly restored Maple Cottage officially opens
  
Parks & Recreation - Members of the Media are invited to attend the
opening ceremony of the "newly restored" historic Maple Cottage. Councillor
Sandra Bussin and The Friends of Maple Cottage invite you to recognize the
135th anniversary of Alexander Muir's "The Maple Leaf Forever" and the tree
that inspired its writing.

The ceremony will include a tree planting and cake cutting.

Date: Sunday, October 27

Time: 1 - 4 p.m. (Official ceremony at 2 p.m.)

Location: Maple Cottage, 62 Laing St. (south of Queen Street East,
west of Leslie Street)
