Toronto celebrates Canadian Forces Day
  
Toronto Mayor Mel Lastman will officially proclaim Canadian Forces Day in
Toronto highlighting the important work the Canadian military personnel provide
across Canada and abroad.

Date: Sunday, June 2
Time: 10:45 a.m.
Place: Toronto City Hall, Nathan Phillips Square (In case of inclement
weather, the event will take place in the rotunda of Toronto City Hall)

Taking part in the ceremony will be Minister of National Defence, the
Honourable John McCallum, Mayor Lastman, Councillor Korwin-Kuczynski (Ward 14
Parkdale-High Park), personnel from HMCS York and the 32 Canadian Brigade
Group. Awards will be presented to the top candidates of the 32 Canadian
Brigade Group Battle School.
