Media Advisory: City honours City-wide Gardening Contest finalists
Members of the media are invited to join Councillor Denzil Minnan-Wong (Ward 34
Don Valley East) and special guest Mark Inglis, Landscape Architect at
Marshall, Macklin and Monaghan, for a presentation to the finalists of the 4th
Annual City-wide Gardening Contest as part of the Economic Development and
Parks Committee meeting.

The contestants of the 2002 City-wide Garden Contest were the past winners of
three district garden contests held in Scarborough, East York and Etobicoke in
2001. City-wide Garden Contest final residential honourees include: Ron
Aitchison, Residential (Traditional) - First Place; George and Soultana Tsenis,
Residential (Traditional) - Second Place; Judy Edge, Residential
(Environmental) - First Place; Siri Luckow, Residential (Environmental) -
Second Place; and Kathy and Gary Parkinson, Residential (Environmental) - Third

Commercial honourees include Norstar Corporation, Commercial - First Place, and
Wedgewood Grove, Commercial - Second Place.
