Queen St. bridge re-opens to vehicles July 16
  
Works and Emergency Services - The Queen Street Bridge over the Don River will
reopen to vehicular traffic beginning July 16, 2002.

Initially, two lanes of eastbound traffic will be available while one lane of
westbound traffic will be open. All lanes of traffic will be open next month.

Regular TTC streetcar route service along Queen St. East, including the
501/301, 502 and King 503/504, resumes July 22, 2002. For more TTC information,

The Corktown Community bus service ends when normal service is restored.

Phase two construction work will see road, sidewalk and TTC track replacement
on Queen Street starting east of Broadview Avenue to Empire Avenue from August
until November.
