Sponsors are a crucial part of the Cavalcade of Lights festival team

Toronto Special Events - The 36th annual Cavalcade of Lights Festival presented
by Scotiabank relies on the support of corporate sponsors and partners to help
launch the holiday season in Toronto on such a dynamic scale. Sponsors are an
integral part of the festival team and truly are the reason why this fantastic
event is free and accessible for everyone to enjoy!

We are pleased to welcome Scotiabank for a third season as Cavalcade's
Presenting Sponsor. Their generous support brings to this event amazing
concerts, spectacular aerial and repelling feats, fun skating parties and the
most impressive light and pyrotechnic show to take place on City Hall's
landmark curved towers to date.

"This is the third year Scotiabank has been Presenting Sponsor of Toronto's
famous Cavalcade of Lights. It's a great way to usher in the festive season in
our great city," said Pat Minicucci, Senior Vice-President, Toronto Region,
Scotiabank. "At Scotiabank we take an active role in the communities where we
live and work. Supporting events like this one is an annual highlight for
children and grown-ups alike and is a great way to get involved."

Toronto Special Events also thanks our Cavalcade of Lights Star Sponsors for
their extraordinary commitment: Toronto Eaton Centre, White Rose Home & Garden
Centres, Government of Canada, The Sheraton Centre Toronto, Rogers, AT&T
Wireless, Michael Seltzer's LE BIFTHEQUE STEAKHOUSE, and Ontario Tourism
Marketing Partnership (OTMP).

For the past 35 years Cavalcade of Lights has kicked-off the holiday season in
downtown Toronto with a dazzling lighting civic square with 100,000 festive
lights. The 2002 event, scheduled for Saturday, November 30, 7 to 11 p.m. at
Nathan Phillips Square, promises to be the most spectacular event in Cavalcade
history. The launch of a new festival format, including a full evening of live
music and the illumination of the City Hall towers with a light and pyrotechnic
show, is the most stunning in the history of Toronto.
