Media Advisory: City of Toronto honours community groups to celebrate Children's Services Month
  
A popular annual event at Toronto City Hall -- this year on June 14 -- will
honour the contributions of community agencies and programs serving young
children as the City celebrates Children's Services Month, May 12 to June 16.


Date: Friday, June 14

Time: Reception at 9 a.m.; ceremony starts at 10 a.m.

Place: Council Chamber, Toronto City Hall, 100 Queen St. W.


Following the reception, which will feature dance performances by several
children, Charles Coffey (co-chair, Commission on Early Learning and Child
Care) will deliver the keynote address. Councillor Olivia Chow, the Children's
Advocate for the City of Toronto, will present certificates of recognition to
representatives of 108 organizations/programs.
