Media Advisory: A literary legacy in the making by Toronto's poet laureate
  
Councillor David Soknacki (Ward 43, Scarborough East) and Rita Davies, Managing
Director, Culture Division invite members of the media to attend a "munch
'n'mingle" with Toronto's first-ever Poet Laureate, Dennis Lee.

Place: Members Lounge, Toronto City Hall, 100 Queen Street West

Since being appointed Poet Laureate in April 2001, Lee has been active in
promoting poetry and the arts in the city and will be sharing some experiences
from his work. He will also talk about his future aspirations for arts and
literacy in the city as he continues his role as Toronto's literary ambassador.
