Media Advisory: Old Town Toronto plans to become new
  
The South East Downtown Economic Redevelopment Initiative (SEDERI) is hosting
an event to celebrate the release of the Old Town Toronto Revitalization Action
Plan that is the result of a 10 month consultation process led by the SEDERI
Steering Committee, funded by Human Resources Development Canada (HRDC),
supported by the City of Toronto's Economic Development Division and
facilitated and written by Susan Cumming of Cumming & Company.

The Old Town Action Plan's key focus areas are:

· Tourism Development
· Heritage Development
· Physical Improvements and Place-Making
· Community Identification, Linkages and Area Promotion
· Job Creation and Local Labour Market Connections
· Services to Support Residential Growth and Business Expansion.
