Photo opportunity: Maria A. Shchuka Branch reconstruction groundbreaking
  
Toronto (Monday, April 22, 2002 ) - Toronto City Councillors Howard Moscoe and
Joe Mihevc will join City Librarian Josephine Bryant in a ground-breaking
ceremony for the new Maria A. Shchuka Branch at the reconstruction location,
1745 Eglinton Avenue West (one block east of Dufferin Street).

"After more than 50 years of service, the branch is in urgent need of
revitalization," says City Librarian Josephine Bryant. "This project gives us
the opportunity to provide improved services to the people of this community."

Reconstruction Groundbreaking

Where: 1745 Eglinton Ave. W.
(one block east of Dufferin Street)

When: Tuesday, April 23 -- 11 a.m.
