Media Advisory: Toronto thanks its business community at the new Yonge Dundas Square
  
Economic Development is hosting a recognition event to acknowledge members of
Toronto's business community and their contribution to the city's economy. On
behalf of Toronto City Council, Councillors Denzil Minnan-Wong, Chair of the
Economic Development and Parks Committee, and Kyle Rae (Ward 27 Toronto
Centre-Rosedale) will thank approximately 400 business leaders who have
expanded or set up businesses in Toronto this year.

Businesses invested $844,695,000 this year to expand and grow in Toronto. This
investment translates into 9,993 new and retained jobs.
