Repairs to Bloor Street bridge over Mimico Creek

The City of Toronto's Works and Emergency Services Department will perform
rehabilitation work on the Bloor Street Bridge over Mimico Creek between Royal
York Road and Islington Avenue as part of a city-wide maintenance program.

The work is being done to reduce future maintenance costs, prolong the service
life of the bridge, and improve the durability of the structure.

Work will be done on the north side of the bridge from May 13 to mid-July while
work on the south side of the bridge will take place from mid-July until
October.

Most work will take place between 7 a.m. - 7 p.m., Monday to Friday. Some
weekend and late night work will also be performed.

During construction, one lane of traffic in each direction will be maintained.
Access to all private entrances will be maintained during construction and TTC
schedules and routes will not change as a result of this project.
