Media Advisory: City hosts ceremony to celebrate successful Provincial Offences Court transfers
Representatives from the Ministry of Attorney General and the City of Toronto
will formally recognize the transfer of four area provincial offences offices
during a ceremony on
Wednesday, March 27.

To commemorate the transfers, Deputy Mayor Case Ootes, Councillor David Miller
and the City's chief administrative officer, Shirley Hoy, will be present to
accept keys to the offices.

Location: Toronto City Hall, Members' Lounge

The City of Toronto signed a transfer agreement with the Province of Ontario
and is now responsible for administrating and prosecuting a variety of
provincial offences. All four City offices are operating
(2265 Keele St., 47 Sheppard Ave. E., 1530 Markham Rd./1911 Eglinton Ave. E.
and 137 Edward St./Old City Hall).
