Fourth Annual Children's Advocate Award for Innovation to be announced
Date: Wednesday, May 22
Time: 2 p.m.
Place: Council Chamber, City Hall, 100 Queen St. W.

Councillor Olivia Chow, Toronto's Children and Youth Advocate, will announce
the winner of the Fourth Annual Children's Advocate Award for Innovation. Mayor
Mel Lastman and Councillor Chow will make a presentation to the award's
recipient at a meeting of Toronto City Council.

The City of Toronto's Children and Youth Action Committee established the
annual award to honour a Toronto-based children's program that has shown
leadership and innovation in serving children and their families. The recipient
of the award is chosen by a panel of children's services experts working in
conjunction with the Children and Youth Advocate.
