Gold medalist and students celebrate World No Tobacco Day
  
Councillor Joe Mihevc, Chair of Toronto's Board of Health, will host a news
conference and reception tomorrow to mark World No Tobacco Day and the first
anniversary of Toronto's No Smoking by-law.

Councillor Mihevc will be joined by Paralympic athlete Chris Williamson, a
visually-impaired alpine skier and gold medal winner in Salt Lake City, who
will address the World No Tobacco Day theme of tobacco-free sports. Councillor
Mihevc will report on the success of Toronto's by-law.

Grade four students from city schools participated in a poster contest on
smoke-free messages. The students will be at the news conference with their
prize winning posters.
