Media Advisory: City forum focuses on hate activity, racial discrimination and xenophobia
  
The City of Toronto is hosting a community forum to address the impact of
global issues on local communities. The forum will focus on hate activity,
racial discrimination and xenophobia.

Councillor Sherene Shaw, Diversity Advocate, and Councillor Pam McConnell,
Chair, City of Toronto Working Group on the Elimination of Hate Activity, will
co-host the forum.

Panelists are:
- Zanana Akande, Urban Alliance on Race Relations
- Uzma Shakir, Council of Agencies Serving South Asians
- Raja Khouri, Canadian Arab Federation

Date: Monday, March 31
Time: 6 to 9 p.m.
Place: Council Chamber, City Hall, 100 Queen St. W
