Mayor's Task Force selects agency for SARS recovery campaign
  
The Mayor's SARS Recovery Task Force is moving quickly to ensure that Toronto's
economy and image makes a fast rebound from the effects of the SARS outbreak.
Today the Task Force selected BBDO Canada Inc., an integrated communications
firm, to help it develop and implement a campaign that will engage Torontonians
in rebuilding affected areas of Toronto's economy.

BBDO will begin work immediately on an initiative that will inspire
Torontonians to take advantage of the City's many cultural, business,
entertainment and recreational opportunities. The campaign will be up and
running next week in time for several key dates in May and June.

BBDO is one of the Canada's leading full-service agencies and is headquartered
in Toronto. Its clients include many of the country's largest companies,
including DaimlerChrysler Canada, Bombardier and Sears. Its public sector
clients included the Premiers' Council on Canadian Health Awareness, and the
Government of Ontario.

BBDO was the unanimous selection of members of the Task Force after they
reviewed the presentations of five agencies over the past two days. Task Force
members selected BBDO on the basis of the creativity, comprehensiveness,
innovation and the value of its proposal.

Further details about the launch of the campaign will be available in the
coming days.
