Mayor David Miller to attend Great Lakes Initiative conference in Chicago

Mayor David Miller will be in Chicago on Thursday, December 11 and Friday,
December 12 to attend the Great Lakes Initiative conference and to meet with
Chicago Mayor Richard Daley. Mayor Miller will give a presentation on
Toronto's wet weather flow management master plan at the conference on Friday.

Mayor Miller will also meet with Chicago city officials about their 3-1-1
service and clean streets program. He will also attend a lunch meeting hosted
by the Chicago Sister City Initiative. The Mayor will be accompanied by
Councillor Brian Ashton, chair of the Economic Development and Parks Committee.

"Chicago is a great waterfront city, one that has shown innovation and
creativity with a number of city services. I look forward to learning from
Chicago's experiences. I'm also thrilled to have the chance to sit down with
Mayor Daley and other mayors to share ideas about how Great Lakes cities might
thrive," said Mayor Miller.
