Hop on and off to enjoy Toronto's holiday season courtesy of ShopDineTour
  
Toronto Special Events - Residents and visitors to Toronto can explore the
beautiful lights and many attractions and restaurants of downtown Toronto
during the Cavalcade of Lights holiday season courtesy of the ShopDineTour
Toronto. Aboard a festively decorated bus, revellers will be shuttled from
Nathan Phillips Square to The Nutcracker Neighbourhood - a transformed St.
Lawrence Market. Then, the bus is off to The Distillery Historic District and
past retail and restaurants including The Hudson's Bay Company.

Riders can 'hop-on' and 'hop-off' at various downtown locations including
Nathan Phillips Square, The Hard Rock Café, Union Station, Hummingbird Centre,
St. Lawrence Market's Nutcracker Neighbourhood, The Distillery Historic
District and St. James Cathedral. Tickets for the one-hour tour are available
at the Cavalcade of Lights Marketplace on Nathan Phillips Square and on the bus
from the driver. Tours run Saturdays and Sundays between November 29 and
January 4 from noon to 8 p.m. Tickets are priced at $15 for adults, $12 for
students and $10 for children ages 6 through 13. Children under 6 are free. For

The winner of two 2003 International Special Events Society Esprit Awards,
Cavalcade of Lights presented by Scotiabank returns as one of the city's most
stunning collection of free holiday events. Toronto's spectacular month-long
calendar of activity launches at Nathan Phillips Square with the family
favourite Cavalcade of Lights First Lighting Celebration on Saturday, November
29, and ends in the same location with the live telecast of Citytv's
Traditional New Year's Eve Bash on Wednesday, December 31.

Admission to Cavalcade of Lights is FREE and getting there couldn't be easier!
Nathan Phillips Square is located at 100 Queen Street West. Take the TTC Queen
Streetcar (501), the Yonge Line subway (exit Queen station) or the University
Line (exit Osgoode station). Yonge-Dundas Square is located at 1 Dundas Street
East. Take the TTC Yonge Line subway (exit Dundas station).
