The 62nd annual Hockey Showcase Day at the Air Canada Centre
Parks and Recreation will host children's hockey championships at Hockey
Showcase Day Tuesday, March 11 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Air Canada Centre.
These championships culminate the Parks and Recreation hockey season for boys
and girls from ages 5 to 14 years.

All winter long, the program participants using Parks and Recreations'
artificial ice rinks brave the elements for the opportunity to participate in
this event at the Air Canada Centre. For many, skating on the Air Canada Centre
ice is a thrill of a lifetime.

The day's program includes the Atom Hockey Championship (boys aged 8 to 9
years); Tyke Hockey Championship (boys aged 10 to 11); Pee-Wee Hockey
Championship (boys aged 12 to 13); Bantam Hockey Championship (boys aged 14 to
15); and the Hockey in the Neighbourhood Program (children aged 7 to 13).

The public and media are invited to attend and show their support for
participants of these community-based programs. Admission to this event is
free. The Air Canada Centre is located at 40 Bay Street (corner of Bay St. and
Lakeshore Avenue).
