Celebrate! Explore! Savour! at Summerlicious
  
Toronto Special Events -- Toronto Special Events revives its hugely popular
restaurant week with the fair weathered Summerlicious. Running July 4 - 10,
2003, in conjunction with the Celebrate Toronto Street Festival presented by
Shoppers Drug Mart, the week is dedicated to shining the spotlight on Toronto's
hospitality industry - some 5000 restaurants strong featuring 200 different
cuisines from around the world.

Following in the successful footsteps of worldwide restaurant events in New
York, Chicago, Sydney and Toronto's own Winterlicious, the program includes the
participation of more than 60 of Toronto's finest restaurants. Each restaurant
will offer a special prix fixe menu where patrons can sample the
establishment's famous fare. The prix fixe menus price points are available at
lunch and dinner and have one of three price categories (some restriction may
apply):

$10 all day menus
$10 or $20 lunch menus
$20 or $30 dinner menus

Lunch and dinner include an appetizer or soup or salad with an entrée and
dessert. Beverages, taxes and gratuity are not included.

As part of Summerlicious, there will be a showcase of award winning and limited
edition wines from the following top Canadian VQA Estate Wineries: Inniskillin
Wines Niagara (ON), Jackson-Triggs Niagara Estate (ON), Sumac Ridge (BC),
Hawthorne Mountain (BC), Inniskillin Okanagan (BC), Jackson-Triggs Okanagan
Estate (BC) and Nk'Mip Cellars (BC). Patrons at Summerlicious' participating
restaurants are invited to enjoy a glass of selected red or white VQA wine
along with their prix-fixe menu for an additional $5 or $10 per glass. NOTE:
Some wines may not be available in all restaurants. Offer available in
participating restaurants only.

Summerlicious is produced by Toronto Special Events, as a part of the Celebrate
Toronto Street Festival presented by Shoppers Drug Mart. The event transforms
five major intersections along the world's longest street, Yonge Street, into a
world-class, FREE one-of-a-kind festival. Scheduled for July 4 - 6, 2003, the
multi award-winning Celebrate Toronto Street Festival honours the city's rich
culture and diversity with spectacular performances by local, national and
international artists. The festival, which draws more than one million
revellers each year, is a great stop for locals and tourists alike to toast
this great city.
