Media Advisory: First annual Humber Bay Butterfly Festival
Parks and Recreation celebrates the first annual Humber Bay Butterfly Festival,
offering an opportunity to plant trees, shrubs and wildflowers in the Humber
Bay Butterfly Habitat. Walking tours of the habitat, led by Parks and
Recreation staff, will take place every half-hour.

"Insectmania," hosted by the Toronto and Region Conservation Authority, will
offer hands-on talks about butterflies and bugs. Face painting is available.
Entertainment will be provided by Madam Buskerfly from 10 to 10:45 a.m. and
ecologically-minded musical entertainer Chris McKhool from 11 a.m. to noon.

Time: 10 a.m. to noon

Location: Humber Bay Park East
(Lake Shore Boulevard West and Park Lawn Road)
