Summerlicious: VQA Wines available at prix fixe prices
Toronto Special Events -- Toronto Special Events revives its hugely popular
restaurant week with the fair weathered Summerlicious, running July 4 - 10,
2003. As well as the incredible value of the Summerlicious menus, participating
restaurants will also be offering a cross section of Canada's top scoring wines
at incredible prices. These featured wines from Vincor International's VQA
estate wineries include award-winning and limited edition red and white wines
for $5 or $10 a glass.

Participating wineries for Summerlicious are:

Inniskillin Wines Niagara (ON) - Located in Ontario's Niagara
Peninsula since 1974, Inniskillin Wines will be offering close to 35 wines,
including many that have won top honours in international competitions. The
Inniskillin Niagara wine list available as part of Summerlicious includes
limited release wines such as 1997 Alliance Pinot Noir, 2000 Founders'
Chardonnay, 1999 Founders' Reserve Pinot Noir, 1999 Meritage, 1999 Reserve
Cabernet Franc, 2000 Pinot Noir Reserve, 2000 Shiraz, 2000 Montague Pinot Noir,
2001 Montague Pinot Noir, 2001 Viognier Servos and 1999 Klose Vineyard Cabernet

Single Vineyard wines includes 2000 Chardonnay Klose Vineyard, 2001 Chardonnay
Montague Vineyard and Chardonnay Culp Vineyards.

Icewines include 2001 Icewine Vidal Minis, 2001 Icewine Vidal, 2001 Sparkling
Icewine and 2001 Cabernet Franc Icewine.

Red and White wines include 2001 Chardonnay, 2001 Chardonnay Reserve, 2002
Riesling, 2000 Riesling Reserve, 2002 Pinot Grigio, 2001Select Late Harvest
Vidal, 2001 Travigne White, 2000 Travigne Red, 2001 Travigne Rose, 2001
Cabernet Franc, 2001 Gamay Noir, 2001 Merlot and 2001 Pinot Noir.

Jackson-Triggs Niagara Estate (ON) -Since Jackson-Triggs Vintners'
inception in 1993, its Niagara wines have also been honoured with many
prestigious and notable awards. The Jackson-Triggs Niagara wine list available
as part of Summerlicious includes 2001 Chardonnay, 2002, Gewürztraminer, 2001
Dry Riesling, 2000 Cabernet Franc, 2000 Cabernet Sauvignon, 2000 Meritage, 2001
Sparkling Cuve Close, 1999 Grand Reserve Sparkling Wine, Grand Reserve
Riesling, Grand Reserve Chardonnay, Grand Reserve Merlot, Grand Reserve
Meritage, 2001 Vintners' Reserve Chardonnay, 2000 Vintners' Reserve Cabernet
Franco and 2000 Vintners' Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon. Icewines include 2000
Vidal, 2000 Grand Reserve Riesling and 2000 Grand Reserve Gewürztraminer.

Sumac Ridge (BC) - Established in the heart of Okanagan Wine Country
in 1980, as one of the first winery's to embrace the VQA standards of
excellence in the West, Sumac Ridge Estate Winery has been dedicated to
producing 100% British Colombian grown wines since its inception. The Sumac
wine list available as part of Summerlicious includes 2000 Cabernet Merlot,
2001 Pinot Blanc and the 1998 Black Sage Merlot.

Hawthorne Mountain (BC) - Launched in 1995, Hawthorne Mountain
Vineyards is the second largest producer of Gewürztraminer in British Columbia.
The Hawthorne Mountain wine list available as part of Summerlicious includes
the 2000 Gewürztraminer.

Inniskillin Okanagan (BC) - Inniskillin established an estate winery
in the Okanagan in 1994. The Inniskillin Okanagan wine list available as part
of Summerlicious includes 1999 Darkhorse Vineyards Meritage and 2001 Pinot

Jackson-Triggs Okanagan Estate (BC) - Jackson-Triggs winery in
British Columbia has been singled out in both domestic and international
competitions as a leader in Icewine production. The Jackson-Triggs Okanagan
wine list available as part of Summerlicious includes 2001 Sparkling Icewine.

Summerlicious is produced by Toronto Special Events as a part of The Celebrate
Toronto Street Festival presented by Shoppers Drug Mart. The event transforms
five major intersections along the world's longest street, Yonge Street, into a
world-class, free one-of-a-kind festival. Scheduled for July 4 - 6, 2003, the
multi award-winning Celebrate Toronto Street Festival honours the city's rich
culture and diversity with spectacular performances by local, national and
international artists. The festival, which draws more than one million
revellers each year, is a great stop for locals and tourists alike to toast
this great city.
