Restrictions on Front Street West during Union Station construction

The City of Toronto is performing rehabilitation work in the moat between Union
Station and the south sidewalk of Front Street West that will result in lane
restrictions along Front Street West from May 30 - June 20, 2003.

The lane restrictions will affect the eastbound lanes of Front Street West,
between York Street and Bay Street. However, a minimum of one lane of eastbound
through traffic will be maintained at all times during the construction work.

There will be no changes to transit services within the construction area.
Pedestrian and cyclist traffic will be maintained at all times during
construction and pedestrian access to Union Station and businesses will also be
maintained.

The taxi pickup and drop-off area adjacent to Union Station in the construction
area will be temporarily removed during the construction period.
