Toronto Special Events -- Toronto's favourite summer events return to Nathan
Phillips Square and Mel Lastman Square beginning June 11 through to August 27.
Corporate sponsors generously support these summer programs ensuring the
festivals remain free and fun for all to enjoy. This year's squares sponsors
include presenting sponsor Scotiabank, joined by Nestlé Waters Canada and
Toronto Hydro, among others.
"With so many different attractions, these events make a great family day out,
both for Torontonians and visitors to our city," said Pat Minicucci, Senior
Vice-President, Toronto Region, Scotiabank. "The Celebrate Toronto summer
series of festivals has become a favourite in our city's summer calendar and we
are delighted to continue our support for the fourth consecutive year."
"Nestlé Waters Canada is proud to return as the official non-alcoholic beverage
sponsor of Summer Squares. These entertaining events, held by the City of
Toronto, are a wonderful opportunity to showcase to the community our Canadian
brand, Montclair Natural Spring Water" said Maria DiLeo, Marketing Manager,
Nestlé Waters Canada. "Be sure to keep an eye out for the Montclair Thirst
Patrol Team. A great way to cool down in the summer heat! Also look for
Monty, the Water Wizard who will be conducting exciting water education lessons
as well as free kids crafts. Join in on the fun!"
Another sponsor supporting the summer squares programs is The Lego Company.
In-kind sponsorship provided by Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel.
