Media Advisory: Green Gooderham and Worts Project to receive funding
  
The Government of Canada and the Federation of Canadian Municipalities will
make an announcement in the Distillery District, one of Canada's oldest
industrial sites and one of Toronto's newest cultural centres.

Date: Monday, August 18, 2003
Time: 9 a.m.
Location: Pure Spirits Restaurant
The Distillery District, 55 Mill St.
south of Front Street, east of Parliament Street

The following politicians will speak:
Councillor Pam McConnell, Ward 28, Toronto Centre-Rosedale
Councillor Howard Moscoe, Ward 15, Eglinton-Lawrence; Member, National Board of
Directors, Federation of Canadian Municipalities
Alan Tonks, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Environment, Member of
Parliament for York South-Weston
