Media Advisory/Photo Opportunity: Children's Advocate Award for Innovation to be presented at Toronto City Council meeting tomorrow
  
The Children's Advocate Award for Innovation will be presented to the 2003
winner during City Council's meeting tomorrow. Councillor Olivia Chow,
Toronto's Children and Youth Advocate and Councillor Raymond Cho will present
the award to Kid Builders, a project operated by Aisling Discoveries Child and
Family Centre.

The Kids Builders project focuses on building resiliency and supporting the
social and emotional development of children living in homeless shelters in
Scarborough.

The award was established by the Children and Youth Action Committee. The
winner is chosen by a panel of children's services experts in consultation with
the Children's Advocate and recognizes unique and creative approaches to
meeting the needs of children and families.

Time: 2 p.m.
