Raising the bar on early childhood education
  
Toronto Children's Services Division will be hosting a two-day conference
called "Raising the Bar - Examining our practice", for early childhood
educators, practitioners, administrators and parents.

Conference highlights include 13 educational workshops and three special
keynote speakers, on a wide range of critical topics in the child care field.

Featured speakers include:
· Stephen Lewis, Secretary-General Kofi Annan's Special Envoy for HIV/AIDS in
Africa
· David Booth, graduate professor of Literacy and the Arts in Education,
University of Toronto
· Charles Smith, a well-known equity advisor and consultant
