Media Advisory: Tenant Vote 2003 Sponsors All-party Debate on Tenants Issues

An all-party debate on tenant and affordable housing issues will take place on
Monday, September 29, sponsored by Tenant Vote 2003.

Tenant Vote 2003 is raising the issue of tenant protection during this
provincial election in a campaign supported by the City of Toronto. The
campaign aims to encourage tenants to vote for provincial candidates who will
tackle unfair rent increases and the lack of affordable housing.

Three political party representatives will attend the debate on Monday:
- Corinne Korzen, PC Candidate, Eglinton-Lawrence
- Mike Colle, Liberal MPP, Eglinton-Lawrence
- Michael Prue, NDP MPP, Beaches-East York

Tenants and other members of the public will take part in the debate through
questions and answers.

The debate takes place September 29, 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at North Toronto
Memorial Community Centre, 200 Eglinton Av. W.
