Join the Canada Day parade

The Scarborough Mirror and the Lions Clubs of Scarborough are hosting the 36th
Annual Canada Day Parade, on Tuesday, July 1 starting at 6 p.m. The Parade
starts at the Scarborough Civic Centre (150 Borough Drive) and ends at David
and Mary Thomson Collegiate Institute (2740 Lawrence Avenue East).

All Toronto community organizations, groups and businesses are invited to
participate in this year's event by entering a float, vehicle, mascots, walking
groups or bands. This event provides each entrant with an opportunity to
demonstrate their pride in being Canadian to a large audience along the parade
route.

This year's theme is: Scarborough Presents Canada

For further information and application forms, please call Jason Tsien or Sandy
Sidhom at 416-396-7757. Deadline for all applicants is June 6, 2003.
