Media Advisory Allan Gardens ground breaking celebrates the arrival of the University of Toronto greenhouses
The University of Toronto greenhouses are being resurrected alongside the
beautiful Palm House in Allan Gardens. The historic U of T greenhouses served
as a teaching facility for thousands of botany students and will now serve as
the Children's Horticultural Conservatory.

Councillor Kyle Rae, Patrick Gossage, Chair of Heritage Preservation Services
and Mr. David Winterton, Chair of Friends of Allan Gardens will be
participating in a groundbreaking ceremony. Special guests include Mr. Sheldon
Levy, Vice President, Government Relations, University of Toronto and Mr. Scott
Mullin, Vice President, Government and Community Relations for TD Bank
Financial Group.
