Wear it right every time - know your helmet salute

The City, in partnership with the ThinkFirst Foundation, will launch a bicycle
helmet safety campaign with a poster unveiling and a helmet safety
demonstration.

Date: Monday, June 2

Time: 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Location: Runnymede Public School
357 Runnymede Rd. (Runnymede and Bloor)

For the month of June, the posters will appear on OMG bins around the city to
encourage cyclists to wear their helmet correctly. Students will learn the
"2-4-1 helmet salute" to check for a correct fitting, and a neurosurgeon will
demonstrate the protection offered by a bike helmet.

Brown's Sports & Cycle Company will be on hand to offer discounted helmets.
