Broken water main closes some lanes on Lake Shore Boulevard

Works and Emergency Services - A broken water service line near the
CNE grounds has resulted in lane closures on Lake Shore Boulevard from west of
Strachan Avenue to Ontario Drive.

At present, one lane of Lake Shore Boulevard is open for westbound traffic and
two lanes are open for eastbound traffic at this location.

Crews from the City's Water and Wastewater Services Division are at the site
and expect to work throughout the day to restore service. If the situation
continues until this afternoon, traffic restrictions on Lake Shore Boulevard
will continue. It is expected that two lanes would be open for westbound
traffic and one lane would be open for eastbound traffic in order to
accommodate rush-hour travel.

Exhibition Place and Ontario Place operations are not affected by this
situation.
