Photo Opportunity First transitional shelter for homeless men in Toronto
  
Fort York Residence will host an open house of their transitional shelter for
homeless men who are ready to leave emergency shelters. This unique facility,
set to open later this fall, contains a mix of dormitory-style shelter beds and
self-contained transitional housing units. Residents will also benefit from
employment and training programs, lifeskills and financial planning workshops,
job placement opportunities and housing help services.

Those speaking at the event will include Hon. Art Eggleton (MP, York Centre),
provincial representative Marilyn Renwick, and Toronto City Councillor Joseph
Pantalone (Ward 19, Trinity-Spadina).
