Annual Fundraising Gala

Date: Monday, October 27
Cocktail Reception: 6 p.m.
Dinner: 7 p.m.
Place: Liberty Grand at Exhibition Place
Room: The Governor's Room

George F. Dark, Chair, Toronto Parks & Trees Foundation will host the
Foundation's 2nd Annual Fundraising Gala at the Liberty Grand. Cocktails and
dinner will be followed by key-note speeches by Mark Cullen, Spokesperson for
Sheridan Nurseries Ltd. and David Crombie, President and CEO of the Canadian
Urban Institute.

Proceeds from the event will go towards the Community Grants Program, a new
fund to support volunteer and community initiatives to enhance Toronto's
parklands and increase park use through park improvements and programming.

The Toronto Parks & Trees Foundation (TPTF) is a non-profit organization that
furthers the preservation of the public park system by enhancing, creating and
restoring Toronto's parks and trees as a legacy for present and future
generations.
