Streetcar tracks to be replaced along King Street

Works and Emergency Services - The City of Toronto and the Toronto Transit
Commission (TTC) will replace the streetcar tracks on large sections of King
Street, beginning at the end of March and continuing through October. Some road
resurfacing work will also be completed during this time.

The work will take place at the following locations:
· Spadina Avenue to Shaw Street (April to June)
· Charlotte Street to Church Street (April to June)
· Church Street to River Street (May to July)
· Close Avenue to Atlantic Street (September to October)
· Atlantic Street to Shaw Street (September to November)

As construction begins in each area, there will be changes to existing TTC
routes. The TTC will post service changes at transit stops. Up-to-date service
details are available by calling the TTC information line at 416-393-4636 or by
visiting http://www.ttc.ca.

For further information about the project, call 416-338-2003 or visit
http://www.toronto.ca/involved.

Pedestrian and driveway access will be maintained wherever possible throughout
the construction period.
