Without whom Cavalcade of Lights would not be possible

Toronto Special Events - Cavalcade of Lights presented by Scotiabank relies on
the support of corporate sponsors and partners to help launch the holiday
season in Toronto on such a dynamic scale. Sponsors are an integral part of the
festival team and remain the reason why this month-long series of events is
accessible for everyone.

"Scotiabank is proud to be the Presenting Sponsor of Toronto's famous Cavalcade
of Lights for the fourth year in a row," said Pat Minicucci, Senior Vice
President, Toronto Region, Scotiabank. "We are committed to supporting the
communities in which we live and work. Supporting events like this one - an
annual highlight for children and grown-ups alike - is a great way to get
involved in our city."

"MerryCruises.com is delighted to be joining this years extravaganza of light
and celebration at Cavalcade of Lights!" said Omar Aboya, Director of Marketing
for MerryCruises.com. "May the fun and excitement of the season be shared by
all. MerryCruises.com wishes everyone a holiday season filled with joy!"
Toronto Special Events welcomes MerryCruises.com as a first-time sponsor of
Toronto's official Christmas tree.

Cavalcade of Lights also receives support from other dedicated sponsors.
Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel and Starbucks Coffee support the entire Cavalcade
of Lights month-long calendar of events. The Government of Canada, Alliance
Atlantis Motion Picture Distribution, The Bay, and the Ontario Tourism
Marketing Partnership support the Weekends of Wonder. The Downtown Yonge
Business Improvement Association supports Designs in Ice.

The winner of two 2003 International Special Events Society Esprit Awards,
Cavalcade of Lights presented by Scotiabank returns as one of the city's most
stunning collection of free holiday events. Toronto's spectacular month-long
calendar of activity launches at Nathan Phillips Square with the family
favourite Cavalcade of Lights First Lighting Celebration on Saturday, November
29, and ends in the same location with the live telecast of Citytv's
Traditional New Year's Eve Bash on Wednesday, December 31.
