Media Advisory: Brad Duguid to Announce Plan for Cleaning Up Toronto!

Councillor Brad Duguid, Chair of the Works Committee, will be making an
announcement tomorrow on the need for a comprehensive approach to cleaning up
Toronto. Councillor Duguid will outline six initiatives that will, if
implemented, make our City cleaner.

"While Toronto still remains one of the world's cleanest cities, there is no
question that our reputation is in jeopardy of being lost if further action is
not taken soon to turn things around," said Councillor Duguid. "We can return
Toronto to its rightful place as the cleanest City in the world. We can make
Toronto residents proud of their City, their streets, their parks and their
neighbourhoods. But it will require a comprehensive effort and a firm
commitment to get the job done."
