Media Advisory: City of Toronto opens first BMX Bike Park at Bayview Arena
  
Parks and Recreation - Councillor David Shiner (Ward 24, Willowdale) will
officially open Toronto's first Bicycle Moto-Cross (BMX) Park at Bayview Arena.

This new extreme sports facility offers a safe, but challenging, one-acre
course with a series of hills and grades for youth riders. The unsupervised
park is open during daylight hours, seven days a week, weather permitting.

A BMX bike demonstration and a community barbecue will follow the ceremony.

Date: Saturday, September 13, 2003

Time: 11 a.m.

Location: Bayview Arena, 3230 Bayview Ave.
(Bayview Avenue, north of Finch Avenue East)
