Nominations close tomorrow at 5 p.m.
  
Candidate nominations for mayor, city councillor and school board trustee for
the City of Toronto November 10 municipal election close tomorrow, September
26, at 5 p.m.

Candidates have until Monday, September 29 at 5 p.m. to withdraw their name
before ballots are printed.

To be eligible to run in the November 10 municipal election, a candidate must
be at least 18 years old; a Canadian citizen; live, own or rent property in the
City of Toronto; and not be prohibited by any law from running in an election.

As of noon today, only two of the three wards for the French public school
board have registered candidates.

Anyone wishing to become a candidate must come to Toronto City Hall, Committee
Room 1, 100 Queen St. W. by 5 p.m. tomorrow. The filing fee for Office of Mayor
is $200. For city councillor and school board trustee, the filing fee is $100.
