PHOTO OPPORTUNITY Safety awards to celebrate individual dynamo, four amazing groups
  
Winners at the Second Annual Mayor's Community Safety Awards will include a
woman who has single handedly cleaned up apartment buildings and even parks, to
a unique collective that is leaving its mark in Regent Park. The awards will
honour one individual and four groups that have made an exceptional
contribution to community safety across Toronto.

Date: Wednesday, May 21
Time: 12:30 p.m.
Formal presentation: 12:45 p.m.
Location: Committee Room 1, 2nd Floor
Toronto City Hall, 100 Queen Street West

Councillor Brad Duguid (Scarborough Centre Ward 38), Chair of the Task Force on
Community Safety and Kelly McDougald, Senior Vice-President of Business Sales
from Bell Canada, a sponsoring partner of the awards, will join representatives
from organizations and communities from across Toronto to announce the award
winners.

A video presentation will follow the formal presentation, and award-winners and
sponsoring partners will be available for interviews.
