Fire fighters and Santa visit hospitals Christmas morning
  
Toronto fire fighters and Santa Claus will deliver gifts to children at various
hospitals across Toronto on Christmas day.

Fire stations across Toronto continue to receive thousands of donations from
our generous community during the Toy Drive of 2003. Fire fighters will
distribute these gifts to dozens of emergency shelters, hospitals and various
agencies.

Date: Thursday, December 25

Time and locations:

9 a.m. - Scarborough Grace Hospital, 3030 Birchmount Rd.
9:30 a.m. - Ronald McDonald House, 26 Gerrard St. E.
10 a.m. - Scarborough General Hospital, 3050 Lawrence Ave. E.
AND Humber River Regional Hospital, 2111 Finch Ave. W.
11 a.m. - Scarborough Rouge Valley Hospital (Centenary), 2867 Ellesmere Rd.
noon - St. Joseph's Health Centre, 30 The Queensway, Tranquillity Entrance

Toronto Fire Services has been involved with humanitarian initiatives during
the holiday season since the 1950s when fire fighters repaired bicycles and
second-hand toys to give as Christmas gifts to less fortunate children.
